Enrolling in online courses will be eligible for a Post-Graduation Work Permit in Canada
Canada has made changes in its Post-Graduation Work Permit policy for all International students who are keen to enrol in online class due to COVID-19 impact. This is a major change introduced by Canadian government.

This news came to lot of Indian students as big relief as students have been bit skeptical about joining online courses as they don’t consider towards the study requirement for Post-Graduation Work Permit these changes have been announced due to given coronavirus travel restrictions, IRCC is now allowing international students to study online while overseas and still be eligible to apply for the work permit after graduation.
New international students will be able to begin their programs at a Canadian designated learning institution (DLI) online in fall 2020 and complete up to 50 per cent of the program while abroad, and then still be able to obtain the PGWP to work in Canada after completing their studies.
This change will help more and more Indian student to choose their higher education in Canada as due to COVID-19 pandemic, Majority of students were planning to defer their plan for next year.
