As of 2019, UCC was ranked by the QS World University Rankings as #310 in the world.[40] The Times Higher Education World University Rankings placed UCC in the range of 301–350 thin 2020.

UCC’s Schools of Nursing & Midwifery and Pharmacy & Pharmacology have been credibly ranked in the QS top 100 subject rankings.
